TEACHER’S HOPE CLOSET
Did you know that teachers, on average, spend more than $500 per year on supplies and resources for their classroom?
You can help change this by hosting a supply drive for our Teacher’s Hope Closet!
What is it? Our Teacher’s Hope Closet is in Mitchell and Sanders-Clyde Elementary and is designed to meet teachers classroom needs the moment they need it.
What do I do? All you have to do is sign up to host a supply drive at your school, business, or even between a group of people. You’ll work directly with a Charleston Hope staff member to plan your drive, market it, and collect your items! Then, you’ll deliver the items to us and we’ll get them stocked in our Hope Closet!
Can you give me an example of how to do this? Of course! Here are some examples:
Take our flyer and email it out to your group. Set up a box with the flyer on it and Charleston Hope’s logo, set a time frame for your drive, and then invite people to go out and purchase supplies and put them in your box!
Collect money from your group, see how much you raise, and then go purchase the supplies on behalf of your group!
Every time you go in a grocery store, grab an item on the list and make your own box all summer long!
I want to host a supply drive! What’s next?! We are excited to have you join our team! Your next step is to fill out our form below and one of our staff members will get in touch with you to help you plan your drive! From there, you can collect the items however you want to!
